More bad news…

Twenty-four courses (minimum) remaining to a bachelor’s degree.

Working 37.5 per week means a maximum of two classes per semester, at three semesters per year, means four more years of schooling. Minimum. At that point I will be 38, living in Austin for 13 years. Ugh.

If I work 20 per week, it means a maximum of four classes per semester, at three semesters per year, means two more years of schooling. Minimum. At that point I will be 36, living in Austin for 11 years. Still ugh.

Mother asked me “Do you need to do this?” I’m still very confident the answer is yes. Not because I need to be a programmer, but just to know that I can finish. If I quit now after so much heartache already, then I will truly be a quitter. After which there will be no guarantees I could ever follow through with anything ever again. If I quit school and settled on being a (whatever I am) for the rest of my life, then I would never be able to trust myself again.
